The 4th Preparatory Meeting for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2010 was held from 23-24 August 2010 in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting was supported by the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology and National Telecommunications Commission, Thailand.

The APT preparatory meetings for PP-10 are designed to consolidate the regional view on issues and prepare common input from the Asia-Pacific region to the PP-10. So far, APT has submitted 12 APT Common Proposals to the PP-10 and is now working on the 28 Preliminary APT Common Proposals (PACPs) that were adopted in the 3rd Preparatory Meeting.

The 4th APT Preparatory Meeting will concentrate on finalizing any outstanding issues from the region to the PP-10 and will agree on regional common position on issues and proposals made by other regions to the PP-10. The meeting will also strategize the coordination during the PP-10 to maximize the success of the APT Common Proposals.
