7th APT Cybersecurity Forum (CSF-7)

The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) organized the 7th APT Cybersecurity Forum (CSF-7) from 11 to 13 October 2016 in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The forum was hosted by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC), and supported by the Extra Budgetary Contributions from Australia and Japan.

The ICT services are prevailing in every corner of our daily life, which is typically observed in the so-called "Internet of Things (IoT)". This phenomenon inevitably leads us to an era of Big Data where vast amount of data is being continuously generated, transferred and processed. Therefore, CSF-7 will focus on this emerging trend with the theme "Emerging Trend: IoT, Big Data and Security". The forum will cover a variety of related issues from identifying and analyzing current and potential issues for each different stakeholder to seeking possible ways to deal with those issues in order to leverage this opportunity.
