The Seminar on Progress in the Asia Pacific Telecommunity (APT) for the year 2012 was held on the 5th of November, 2012 in Bangkok, Thailand.

As decided by the 12th Session of the General Assembly and the 35th Session of the Management Committee of the APT, held in Jeju Island, Republic of Korea in November, 2011, to facilitate the participation of LDCs to attend the Management Committee through an appropriate mechanism within the constraints of the Constitution and budgetary limitations of the APT, the above mentioned Seminar was held in conjunction with the 36th Session of the Management Committee of the APT, scheduled to be held from 6 to 9 November, 2012, in Bangkok.
