The 4th APT Workshop on Disaster Management/Communications was held at the SMX Convention Center, Manila, Philippines, from 23-25 July 2013. The Workshop was hosted by the Department of Science & Technology (DOST), Philippines, in conjunction with the Philippine’s National Science & Technology Week (NSTW).
The objective of the workshop was to bring together stakeholders responsible for emergency communications and warning systems in the Asia-Pacific region to discuss the availability and use of such communications and systems for public protection and disaster relief.
