The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity organized the 2nd Meeting of the APT Preparatory Group for PP-22 (APT PP22-2) on 15-17 February 2022 virtually.

The 45th Session of the Management Committee of the APT held on 30 November -3 December 2021 approved holding of APT PP22-2 for the preparatory process of the APT for the ITU Plenipotentiary Conference 2022 (PP-22). APT PP22-2 conducted the following activities:

• reviewed outcomes of Council WGs and Expert Groups on ITRs;
• considered Issue Papers prepared by Working Groups of APT PP-22;
• considered the input contributions from APT Members;
• reviewed outcomes of the preparatory process of other regional organizations;
• developed Preliminary APT Common Proposals
• developed APT views on PP-22 issues; and
• developed APT contribution, if any, to 2022 Session of the Council.
