The Asia-Pacific Telecommunity (APT) will organize a Training Course on Preparing for International Conferences 2024 (TCPIC-2024, “Mock Conference”) from 7 to 10 May 2024 in Bangkok, Thailand. This training course provides opportunity to experience discussion, negotiation and coordination on a matter at an international meeting.

This course aims to provide participants with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to participate effectively in international meetings and negotiations in the ICT sector. It covers essential topics such as the structure and functions of international meetings, key negotiating frameworks related to ICT policies, preparation processes, proposal development and negotiation strategies. 

 This is a 4-day face-to-face training course consisting of lectures, discussions and practical exercises through the Mock Conference. Through lectures, discussions and practical exercises, participants will gain a basic knowledge of the structure of international meetings, an understanding of basic negotiation skills and a basic understanding of the policy issues discussed at international meetings.
