APT will organise virtual meeting for CGSP-1 and APT WTSA20-2!

In late March 2020, the Royal Thai Government had sought the cooperation of all diplomatic missions, consular representatives and international organisations in Thailand to refrain from organising and attending large-scale activities including mass gatherings or large community events to mitigate the risk of transmitting COVID-19.

Given that the CGSP-1 as well as the APT WTSA20-2 had been postponed once and considering the work plan of both meetings, APT Secretariat, in consultation with the Chairman of CGSP and the Chairman of APT WTSA-20 and other office bearers, had decided to organise virtual meeting for the CGSP-1 and APT WTSA20-2 on 7-8 May 2020 and 13-15 May 2020, respectively.

This is the first time for APT to organise a virtual meeting for APT work programme. APT Secretariat will do the best to provide necessary environment for the remote participation.
